The article provides analysis of some author methods of using Platonov’s text, basing on the poems by V.Sharov and V.Sorokin. These authors are actualizing the text, paying attention to the different sides of pre-text (the content and the form). V.Sharov is adding up to the meaning of it, while V.Sorokin is saving Platonov’s text from reader’s cliched understanding by deconstructing it.

Platonov as the signified and the signifier
(Platonic text in the novels Resurrection Lazarus by V. Sharov and Blue Fatby V. Sorokin)
The article is dedicated to three different editions of Viktor Shklovsky’s novel „Zoo, or Letters Not about Love“: those of 1923, 1924, and 1964. Special attention is paid to the latest author’s version of this text conceived as a novel of a new type. This latest version uncovers opportunities of the first (more autobiographical), and the second (more fictional) editions of the novel.
