The article’s aim is to analyze one of the most sophisticated poems written by Vladislav Khodasevich — „Windows looking into the yard“ — as a poetical experiment close to „anti-poetry“. Absurd (in the content and in the form) is defined as the „constructive principle“ of the poem. The key motives of his latest collection of verse, „European night“, are examined, and the connection between the poem and its possible sources is reinterpreted.

The paper examines in detail the historical sources of A. G. Glebov’s play „Zagmuk“ (1923–1925). The author established many links of the plot of the play with the ideas of cultural anthropologists and аssyriologists of the beginning of the XXth century, as well as the possibility of involvement of the play adviser Professor V. K. Shileiko in the development of onomastics, motifs and plot of the text.

The Babylonian socialist revolution (about the sources of A. G. Glebov's play „Zagmuk“)
This article is devoted to the influence of the literary context of the 1820s on the poetry collection entitled «Опыт Русской Анфологии» which was published in 1828 by Mikhail Alekseevich Yakovlev. An attempt to analyze the structure of the poetry collection according its hypothetical literary and ideological sources makes it possible to show the connection between a tradition of „light verse“ and epigrams of Greek Anthology, as well as to describe the poetry collections’ development at the beginning of 19th century.

Signs of fictionality in a literary mystification (on the example of „Veles book“)
The article analyzes an early story by Andrei Platonov from the standpoint of intermediation in the literature in which a text and a piece of music are compared. The facts from the biographies of Beethoven and Platonov are examined, the writer’s epistolary heritage and the wider context of his early works are drawn as well in an attempt to penetrate into the creative laboratory.

The article’s aim is to analyze Dostoevsky’s story „Bobok“ in the aspect of the genre talkings of the dead. The outline of the genre evolution on the material of Russian literature and the functioning of the concrete elements in the publicism of 1870-s is presented. The influence of this publicistic context on Dostoevsky’s story and on his concrete devices is examined.
