Sonnet myth-making by P. D. Buturlin
The article studies the transformation of a character of doctor Gurfinkel, present in the works by Yuri Olesha in the 1920s–1930s, that was by most part published after the death of writer („The death of Zand“ and others). An analysis of the author’s work on this character helps to study the poetics and ideology of Olesha.

The fate of dr. Gurfinkel
(on the creative history of the plays of Y. K. Olesha)

In this article, the links between the cuneiform texts of ancient Mesopotamia and the literary events of the Silver Age are revealed. The first note corrects the commentary on the collection of poems by V. K. Schileico and suggests a connection between the administrative tablet with account of livestock and N. S. Gumilev’s metaphor „number — cattle“ in the poem „The Word“. In the second note, the fate of Schileico’s publication of the letter of Hammurabi, which created him the reputation of a great scholar among writers of the „Stray Dog“, was traced. The third note establishes the authorship and content of the unknown epigraph to the publication of the Assyrian amulet. In the fourth article, an unknown Akkadian text is introduced into scholarly circulation and its connection with the poem from the collection of poems by A. Akhmatova is established. The fifth note reveals the literary sources of Akkadian words and names in V. Khlebnikov’s compositions.

The history of his writing is traced and the context of ideas expressed by the writer is recreated.

In this article explored I. S. Shmelev’s symbols and motives in the novel „The Sun for Dead“. In the result it was possible to identify keys symbols and images. Without it the author’s idea would have been lost. This is the image of the sun and death, collapse and revival.
